A typical Lion Club morning

Officially we start at 10am, but if you're a bit early we won't keep you standing outside!  Please let us know you're there.  And of course, there's no such thing as late - well, so long as you arrive before the end!

We ask you to sign in each week, so we know who's there.  We also ask you for a few basic details.  We suggest a contribution of £1 per family per week.

The first hour is free play.  We have three rooms.

In the foyer there's big toys - typically a climbing frame and trampoline - plus that's where the sit-and-rides start out.

The main hall is set out with tables - construction toys, craft, farm / dolls house and jigsaws - plus a baby area (which doubles as a book corner), toy cars and duplo.

Further on through there's a play house with kitchen etc and dressing up clothes.

Around 11am we clear the tables and the foyer, and everyone goes to the front for singing time, about 15-20 minutes.

Then back into the main hall for a drink and a snack.  We have tea and coffee for adults, squash or water for children, plus biscuits and fruit.

Lastly, we get out a few different toys, including a wooden train layout, and have more free play for the rest of the morning.
